    Kermit — a protocol designed to transfer files between microcomputers and mainframes.

    Kernel — an element of the operating system’s central part (nucleus).

    Keyboard — an input device (a keyboard), the main device for inputting text and digital data in the computer.

    Keylogger a program collecting and saving the list of all keystrokes produced by the user. Later it can publish this list giving an access to the data (keyboard input information: passwords, documents’ texts, messages, key combinations, etc.) to the third parties.

    KFlex — a personal information transmission standard developed by the Rockwell company to transfer data by means of a modem at a speed of 56 kbit/s, realized by several modem manufacturers. V.90 standard is accepted for 56 kbit/s modems.
