    Java a programming language, that allows to create the independence programs platform, i.e. the programs can run on any operation system or hardware (multiplatform language).

    Java Applets applets, that can be included into the web-sites to increase their functionality.

    JavaScript a programming language, that offers dynamic responses (e.g., different data, depending on the way who and how gets access, interaction with a user, ordered responses, etc.).

    Joystick — a special game input device, imitating a control handle of a plane. It is mainly used in the simulation games.

    JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) — an image compression standard.

    Jumper — a short length, metal, plastic enclosed plate, that is situated between two metal connection terminals on the board, and closes them.
