    Gamma correction — in graphics- leveling of differences in brightness appearing when working with different screens.

    Gateway — a computer that performs the communication between different types of the platforms, networks, computers or programs.

    GDI (Graphics Device Interface) — a system that allows the Windows operation system to display presentations on the screen or to print them out.

    GPF (General Protection Fault) — an attempt of accessing the memory areas inaccessible to this program. If such an error has appeared in the operating system kernel, it usually leads to computer crashing or hanging.

    Groupware — a system that allows the users of one local network (LAN) to work with the common programs, to get access to the Internet, intranet, to use e-mail, firewalls, proxy, etc.
